Vegetable oils

  • Crude oil
Procured from crushing rapeseed. Used in the manufacturing of methyl esters of higher fatty acids. Good for greasing animal feed and manufacturing edible oils and margarines.
  • Neutralised oil
Obtained by neutralisation of crude oil, which results in a product with no free fatty acids and phospholipids. Used mainly in the production of biocomponents and biofuels.
  • Refined rapeseed oil
Obtained by refining of crude rapeseed oil. Dedicated for further processing in the food industry: making of mayonnaises, fish, fruit and vegetable processing, making of pates, cakes and puffs and the production of biofuels.
  • Refined sunflower oil
Obtained by refining of crude sunflower oil; used mainly for food production i.e. making of butter and puffs and processing of nuts.
  • Refined palm oil
Obtained by refining of crude palm oil. Used mainly in the food industry (margarines, fats), oleo-chemical industry and recently as a raw material for manufacturing biofuels.
Back return

2007 witnessed the launch of several installations for the production of methyl esters from rapeseed (RME), with the rapeseed oil serving as a basic raw material in the start-up process. Consumers of raw rapeseed oil used for power engineering purposes include, for example, the two largest petrochemical concerns: PKN Orlen SA and LOTOS SA.
